A web app that made managing type 1 diabetes feel less like a medical task.
Sequel Med-Tech needed a patient-facing app for their twiist insulin pump - something complex enough to handle real medical data, simple enough that patients actually use it. We designed the full product from scratch, including a design system of nearly a thousand components.
Complex medical flows made simple for everyday patients. twiist isn't a consumer app - it's a medical device companion. But the people using it aren't doctors, they're patients managing a chronic condition every single day. Every flow was designed with heuristics in mind: reduce cognitive load, make errors recoverable, and never make the user feel lost.
Nearly 1,000 components - built once, used everywhere. From onboarding to glucose dashboards to prescription lookup, every screen pulls from the same system. That's what makes a product feel coherent at scale.
